A: No. Most of our programs are open to Guests, just at a higher fee.
Q: Do I have to be a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) to join NSA VA?
A: Yes and No. To be a “Member” of NSA VA you first have to qualify to be a Professional Member of NSA national. You can see how to quality below. However, for those who want to join NSA VA while you are earning your qualifications, you may became a Candidate Partner at any time. Q: How do I qualify to be a Professional Member of NSA national?
A: You can qualify in one of three ways:
Option 1: You have received monetary compensation for at least 20 presentations within the 12 months prior to submitting your application.
Option 2: You have given at least 20 presentations to audiences of 15 or more as part of a salaried position within the 12 months prior to submitting the application.
Option 3: You have earned at least $25,000, giving presentations within the 12 months prior to submitting the application. The number of speaking engagements does not matter.

Q: Where does NSA VA hold programs and events?
A: During our 2018-2019 program year, we will hold in-person workshops and events in Richmond, VA and Williamsburg, VA. We will also hold several virtual programs that you can attend live or in replay as it works for your schedule. Be sure to check our events page for details.
