• the owner of CFO Plus Services, a fractional CFO and Bookkeeping firm specializing in bringing the services of an experienced CFO to small businesses.
• a graduate of Virginia Tech with an accounting degree who spent more than twenty years as a CFO or controller in mid-sized and large privately held businesses.
• The author of the book, “The Big Turnaround—How Bad Management Nearly Destroyed an Exceptional Company,” a business novel dealing with common problems business owners face on a daily basis.
• The former host of The Smart and Savvy Exit radio show on the IBGR.network (International Business Growth Radio Network), which is now available as a weekly podcast.

Ellen loves to speak to groups, both large and small, about how to improve both business processes and finances. She resides with her family in Montpelier, Virginia. She has been a member of the NSA Virginia chapter for about ten years.
